Who is Ness?

I am learning to live now, and to have much gratitude for every moment of the day.   God has been so very gracious in my life.  As a youth, I wondered if He heard my prayers, but as I look back in time, I see that He was carrying me all along.  Recently our family has been through their share of hardship, but I have found that by leaning on my Maker, I feel light.

I am a thankful mother of two beautiful boys, and have grown up over these past 17 years with my wonderful supportive husband. God has granted me an abundance of love in the ones I hold close to me, my family.  I have learnt much from them and count my blessings every day for the love. As a career, I work in Human Resources, with a Bachelor in Administration with a major in accounting and minor in computer science.   Music and writing has been part of my life through the years, but just recently God started whispering to me and called me to write in a bigger way.

God whispers to all of us through our everyday lives, and if you listen close enough you will see abundance in all things.  There are so many opportunities in this life to hear the voice of God and take action.

One of my favorite creatures is the butterfly, no coincidence that my name means “butterfly”.   The interesting thing about a butterfly is that it needs to emerge on its own, by twisting and turning and being patience for a little crack…. The slightest little crack will allow the wings to emerge and become strong and fly. However, to get to that crack is where all of the work and development happens.  I see this imagery in my life and my relationship with God.  He has been building me, and teaching me to be patient so when I emerge I would be able to soar and fly.IMG_7562

Life is full of twists and turns, it is all how you deal with these twists and turns that makes the difference. We all have the opportunity to make difference every day in our lives and others.    It is how we act, react, respond and spend our time that means the most in life. All actions have a ripple effect – this is called the butterfly effect.   One simple action can result in great things!  Life is a wonderful place when we choose to live in the present and be open to the voice of our God. I looking forward to the continued journey with my Maker.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

  1. What an awesome “about” page. I can’t believe I hadn’t read it yet. You have a beautiful way with words too – have you published anything or have you got a project in the pipeline? You are very gifted! I loved the part about your name and how the butterfly gets stronger – great to have that picture as a reminder in your life!
